State which edges need banding for each part, the matching colour or design, and the required band thickness. GSM’s processing overview lists 0.45 mm and 2.0 mm edge-finish options. Agree the option that suits the selected panel and job.
Precision finishing on the cut panel
A straight edge of the cut panel is fed along the edge-banding machine’s guide. The finish is applied to the panel edge. Edge-band tape is a separate finishing material; it is not the laminate sheet used during pressing.
Label parts before packing
Part labelling follows edge banding in the processing journey. Agree component identifiers against the final cutting list so your team can distinguish the parts at the project site.
Add cleaning and packing if required
Cleaning and packing are optional services. Mention them in the enquiry along with collection or delivery details so the team can agree the job scope.

Is laminate trimming the same as edge banding?
No. Laminate trimming removes overhang from the full sheet after pressing. Edge banding finishes the edges of individual panels after cutting.
Are part labels and packing the same service?
No. Labelling identifies individual components. Cleaning and packing are optional later stages that should be requested in your enquiry.
